A reputable German shipowner is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join its fleet.
Salary: 9326 usd
Seniority:
2nd year: USD 100
3rd year: USD 300
As of 4th year: USD 500
+RJB: 500 usd
Requirements:
-Min 12 months in rank
-Stable sea service
-Experience on container is preferable
-Good knowledge of engine room operations and maintenance
-Familiar with PMS, safety management, and MARPOL regulations
-Good command of English
-EU or acceptable international certification
Duties:
-Overall responsibility for engine room operation
-Maintenance and repair of all technical equipment
-Managing engine room personnel
-Ensuring compliance with company, flag state, and international regulations
-Fuel consumption and spare parts management
